Emma Gill is hosting a Cha Cha Cha workshop on Blackpool’s iconic Comedy Carpet, blending Latin dance energy with the playful spirit of this unique public art installation. As an Associate and Licentiate instructor for both UKA and IDTA, Emma brings 15 years of experience in Freestyle, Salsa, and Latin American dances, with a special focus on Cha Cha Cha. Emma followed her dreams to London where she worked as Head Teacher and General Manager for former Strictly Come Dancing and World Masters Champion Karen Hardy. During this time Emma competed internationally in many pro-am competitions including Killick Klassick, Boca Raton and World Dance Championships, Paris. Emma is now Academy Principal of Example Dance Academy right here in Blackpool.

Participants will learn Cha Cha Cha steps surrounded by the Comedy Carpet’s witty one-liners and classic comedy quotes, right beneath the Blackpool Tower. This workshop is part of a series of dance events on the Comedy Carpet, highlighting its versatility as a cultural venue. Emma Gill’s workshop is open to all levels and promises a lively, memorable dance experience in a truly distinctive setting.
